The Suretek Network 

A managed network that has five transmission paths which enable the panel in your customer’s premises to communicate with the monitoring centre via a secure and encrypted private link.  Once connected your customer’s alarm system to report via GPRS, GSM, PSTN, 3G/4G and IP via the secure Surepoll private network. 

Surepoll also uses clustering, which allows the network to interact as a single yet highly available and redundant system with 99.99% uptime - even during outages.

Intelipath^® 

This is a free-of-charge redundancy service for alarm communications. Prior to the advent of Intelipath, GSM was the primary failover option for Monitoring Centres. To overcome the reliability issues inherent with wireless redundancy, Suretek introduced Intellipath as a superior alternative.

Case Studies

100,000 alarm events saved during major power outage in SA
During the devastation of Wednesday 28th one SA monitoring centre, SAMS, was able to save and deliver over 45,000 alarm events and in excess of 100,000 alarm events over the entire 3-day storm. SAMS’ proven disaster recovery strategy is Suretek’s Network. Despite the statewide black out, Suretek's Network was able to ensure all alarm events were received at the SAMS control room.Suretek also assisted SAMS through managing the sudden surge in alarm events during the SA storms, through load balancing the events across multiple links.

GSM redundancy fails monitoring center when cable damaged
Like most monitoring centres, Energize Australia has GSM redundancy in place which had failed to deliver all the alarm communications during the major outage. “We have GSM redundancy but that redundancy was not working as it should have, which can easily add up to thousands of customers potentially at risk”, said Shane Ruawai owner of Energize, “Within one day our redundancy issues were resolved.
