Simplicity through Power over Ethernet
A very important, cost and time saving feature of the Mobotix cameras is the capability for using Power over Ethernet (802.3af PoE) technology. This allows the camera to be powered only by the data cable, cutting down your installation times dramatically. All switches in our switching range can consistently transfer the 3-4w power supply required by Mobotix cameras over Cat5 cables.
