Surepoll Wireless is a highly sophisticated, private alarm transmission network that uses the GSM networks to transmit alarm traffic and data via GPRS (General Packet Radio Service).  Surepoll Wireless is lightning fast, highly secure and reliable.  It is an alternative method of data transmission to PSTN lines and in most circumstances is a lot safer. The Network

The Surepoll Wireless Network is managed 24/7 by trained security licensed professionals at the Suretek Data Centre.  The most compelling aspect of the Surepoll Wireless network is the integration of the extremely advanced technology known as “clustering”.  Clustering allows for the Surepoll Wireless core network to interact as a single, highly available and truly redundant system (99.999%).  Security on the Surepoll Wireless network is assured via an exclusive, direct link, virtual private network (VPN) that is established for every Surepoll Wireless monitoring centre.  The Surepoll wireless network is totally secure and designed specifically for alarm monitoring.  Transmission security is further guaranteed via Triple Data Encryption Standard (3DES) and 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES).

Polling

Surepoll Wireless is the only dedicated alarm transmission network to provide true end to end managed polling.  With every poll managed at an application and system level which must adhere to strict timing criteria.  If a poll is not received within a certain time frame, the system reattempts a poll transmission, this process can occur up to 6 times on 2 seperate paths with in a 90 second time frame.  If communication has not been received from the alarm system with in 90 seconds, a poll fail message is received at the monitoring centre.  Surepoll Wireless is the only solution that offers true 90 second polling by managing every poll from start to finish.  Not all GPRS solutions are created equal.  If you are constantly receiving poll fails then you are obviously not using Surepoll Wireless.

Redundancy

All aspects of the Surepoll Wireless network have been deployed with redundancy in mind.  With multiple redundant paths from the panel to the control room on all hardware and software and redundancy on all routers, switches and firewalls you can be sure the Surepoll Wireless Network will never let you down.  Our Data Centre houses some $500,000 worth of CISCO equipment including clustered servers and SAN Solutions.  Our back-up power supply is a 115KVA Generator encased in silent housing and our satellite solution carries a direct port into the Surepoll Wireless Network for instant use as an optional redundancy path.
