Surepoll Ethernet

Surepoll Ethernet is a highly secure IP alarm transmission network, unlike any other, that uses existing internet connections to transmit alarm traffic and data from the alarm panel to the Control Room.

A typical Ethernet transmission network is simply not safe enough for any control room, because with each panel connection it opens another possibility for hacking. That is where Surepoll Ethernet differs.

The Surepoll Ethernet alarm transmission path has four main stages of data transmission, as shown in the above diagram. By passing the alarm transmission through the Surepoll High Security Network we can eliminate the risk for the control room by securing the data before it reaches them. For a control room to put in place the infrastructure to do this themselves, it would cost tens of thousands of dollars.

Surepoll Ethernet is a very cost effective alternative to GPRS monitoring. It is suitable for anyone with an existing internet connection and comes with multiple, competitively priced polling plans.

All alarm transmissions that come through the Surepoll Ethernet network have a unique identifying system code that allows us to maintain complete client confidentiality. We do not require your client details and nor should any other provider.

Australian Standards

Surepoll Ethernet meets all aspects of Australian Standard AS2201.5 Class 4 polling for 90 second polling and Australian Standard AS2201.5 Class 3 polling for 60 minute polling.
