Bureau Link is a product that works with your CAMS software to give your bureaus access to all their data and alarm traffic.

How it works

The CAMS Bureau Link system enables your bureaus to send client data direct to you and instantly populate your CAMS software with their new customer details or any changes to their own client data.  It’s all secure and automatic; the bureau installer does all the typing and data entry for you including:

• Zone lists
• User lists
• Contact information
• Client details

In a similar fashion they can also download history logs, edit existing information and generally keep their own database synchronised with yours.  Of course you still retain control and have the ability to administer various levels of access and permissions to the bureau.  You can control whether their system is permitted to view the data only or if they are allowed to change it as well.

AIM software

As part of the Bureau Link system, we have created a new tool for the bureaus and installers that will make running their businesses easier.  This new software is called AIM - Alarm Installation Manager.  Any installation company can use the AIM software to manage their customer database but the key feature is the ability of AIM to synchronise with a CAMS enabled control room.  All the users will benefit from its features regardless of the control room they use however, to fully unlock AIM’s huge potential, the users will need to seek out a CAMS enabled control room.  By installing Bureau Link, your CAMS control room instantly becomes attractive to any installers using AIM to manage their business.

No more data entry

AIM supports a secure encrypted duplex data synchronisation feature that can connect direct with the CAMS enabled control room; when you complete a new installation, you enter all the details into AIM on your PC or laptop.  Enter the customer information, zone lists, user lists, contact details, schedules and comments.  Connect to the control room and AIM will instantly create your new customer within the CAMS monitoring software.  No more data entry for the control room to do, and your client is ready to go on the air.  Hit print and create an instant commissioning sheet for your customer.  If you need to edit data for any of your clients just make the changes in AIM, connect to the control room and changes are done.

Reporting features

With AIM you can create your own reports for print or email.  AIM even includes basic billing reports to make invoicing your clients a breeze.  You can also schedule services like recurring yearly checks or just action any that have been generated automatically by the control room for you when you last synchronised.  Include multiple digital pictures of the site and installation so you can remember the job, keep track of what you installed and where.  Even the finer details like the number of the phone line or STU the panel is connected to.  You can also link to other documents and keep track of customer contact in the notes.
