Raytec now integrated with RemoteGUARD
Partner Update

We're proud to announce the release of our Raytec-RemoteGUARD integration. We've reached our Stage 1 milestone with the completion of the integration into CAMS.  Stage 2 will see the release of the Raytec integration into ADSW along with other features and functions already enjoyed by CAMS monitoring stations.

Earlier this year we announced that Suretek became an Australian Distributor for world-leading infra-red/LED illuminator manufacturer Raytec, and had the unique opportunity to integrate Raytec into the RemoteGUARD Video Alarm module for CAMS and ADSW automation software.

Suretek is the first company, globally, to utilise the new Raytec network capabilities in the VARIO IP illuminators for integration with alarm automation software.  This means that over 320 CAMS monitoring stations in over 22 countries now have access to the Raytec network device capabilities, with easy configuration, straight from their alarm automation software - a great addition to the highly successful RemoteGUARD Video Alarm Management Module.

What's in the new Raytec Integration into CAMS:

Monitoring station operators will be able to take instant control of any illuminator to respond to live alarm events, fine-tune lighting themes for CCTV images, and operate lighting in groups for quicker and easier control of large sites.

  • Register any number of illuminators per client asset
  • Optionally associate illuminators to cameras, or have all illuminators available for all cameras
  • Useful for sites with a large number of cameras and illuminators
  • Pre-program illuminator power per camera during virtual patrol camera tour
  • Operators viewing cameras can see the list of illuminators associated with the camera, and the list automatically changes as the camera selection changes
  • Single click to change the power setting (Off, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% and 100% power) for a single illuminator or multiple illuminator selection
  • Real time feedback of illuminator status/power setting
  • Fast response times
  • Popup illuminator tool window showing status and single-click power controls available from camera multi-view screen
  • Any power changes to illuminators revert back to their original settings upon exiting the RemoteGUARD screen
  • Does not affect any customised trigger/event settings

The full potential of the Raytec network illuminators are unlocked with the CAMS integration, creating a truly intelligent and responsive security system at night.

The VARIO IP PoE was voted winner of the ‘IFSECBest CCTV System of the Year’, and allows for quick and easy remote setup, commissioning, operation and maintenance for the installer of the CCTV lighting scheme, from anywhere on the network, 24/7.  Lighting can be triggered on alarm to deter crime via other network devices such as cameras, detectors and VMS systems.

Suretek is your Australian Raytec distributor; we carry large stock levels, and ship overnight to anywhere in Australia from our Sydney warehouse, giving you quick access to the The VARIO range, including new specialist products such as the VARIO Hybrid, VARIO Lighthouse Kit and VARIOD-Zoom.
